PSI Winter School for Proton Therapy 2026
To provide detailed knowledge on the clinical, physics and technological aspects of proton therapy using pencil beam scanning. The course is designed for radiation oncologists, medical physicists, physicists, engineers, radiation technologists and dosimetrists. No previous knowledge of proton therapy is necessary. Principles of Proton Therapy 1-week course
Prior to attending the on-site course, participants will be enrolled in a series of web-based modules, which will provide you basic knowledge of proton thearpy. During the course of the week participants discovr the history of the the Roberts Proton Therapy Center, review the fundamentals of proton therapy physics and technology, delve into the considerations for clinical operations, treatment planning, as well as the more specialized treatment of pediatric patients. The course includes observations and specific elements for Radiation Oncology, Physicists, Dosimetry, and Radiation Therapists. Registration closes March, 2nd, 2026.
