  • IEO Proton Threapy: From Theory to Clinical Practice

    The European Institute of Oncology presents a two-day theoretical and practical course on Proton Therapy. providing improved irradiation of the target volume. The course covers all aspects of proton therapy treatment, from clinical indications to treatment planning and patient positioning, highlighting similarities and differences compared to conventional photon-based radiotherapy. For this reason, the course is designed for healthcare professionals, including Radiation Oncologist, Medical Physicists, and Radiation Therapist (RTTs). It features both lectures and, most importantly, hands-on practical exercises.

  • Hybrid Courses in the field of Particle Therapy

    The German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg offers three hybrid courses in the field of particle therapy. Endorsed by ESTRO, the courses are organized under the auspices of the Heidelberg Institute of Radiation Oncology (HIRO) in close cooperation with the Heidelberg Ion-Beam Therapy Center (HIT) as well as the University Hospital Heidelberg. The courses are for physicians with German language proficiency.
